AÇAÍ

This Amazonian palm berry is a great source of natural energy that is traditionally harvested in the Brazilian rainforests. It helps prevent premature aging thanks to its remarkable concentration of antioxidants such as high quality protein (a near-perfect essential amino acid complex) in conjunction with valuable trace minerals, which are vital to skin regeneration. The synergy of essential omegas and healthy fatty acids in Açai aid in maintaining skin integrity, as they play a part in the metabolism of lipids and the skin renewing process.

BRAZIL NUT

The oil of Brazil nut is clear and has a very pleasant odour. Rich in vitamins, oleic acids and proteins, it acts on the skin's tissues, forming a protective coating that blocks the evaporation of the skin’s moisture leaving your skin smooth and irresistibly soft to the touch. It is ideal for mature and very dry skin. It is easily absorbed into the skin and leaves it velvety soft.

CAIPARINHA

The perfume is completely delicious, a hint of fresh limes with a lightly sweet note. Caipirinha is a typical and internationally famous Brazilian drink made from white rum extracted from sugar cane, served with a mixture of sugar, ice and lime juice. The Caipirinha cosmetics range are made using sugar cane extract and lime, with absolutely no alcohol. These ingredients do wonderful things for the skin as they are rich in natural nutrients and vitamins. The extract is taken from lime pulp and therefore does not provoke dermal photosensitivity.

CUPUAÇU

Extracted from a typically Amazonian plant found in the wildest areas around the Tapajós, Xingu, and Tocantins rivers . This product utilises the properties of Cupuaçu Butter, a triglyceride composed of balanced saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, and that has the appearance of a soft mass that quickly melts in contact with the skin. Cupuaçu Butter helps in the recuperation of the skin’s natural elasticity and humidity, specifically in skins that are dry and mistreated. As it presents a certain level of UV absorbency, it is classified as a solar filter category.

GUARANÁ

Originating in the Amazon basin, this plant was considered as sacred by the native population. It has, for many years, been used for its medicinal, healing properties. When ripe it is red in colour and, when dry, it is a dark brown. The properties of Guarana as a mental stimulant and energy tonic are scientifically proven. It has refreshing, astringent and tonic benefits, softening and hydrating the skin.

MARACUJÁ

Maracujá is a yellow Amazonian fruit with a unique sweet and sour aroma. Internationally known as Passion Fruit. The oil that is extracted from the seeds contains linoleic acids (omega-6 fatty acid) which help to form a fine protective layer over the skin that is easily absorbed, leaving it silky soft. It also helps control the oil composition of the skin and has excellent moisture retention properties.
